The lost wax investment casting process begins with the creation of a high-precision metal wax injection die. Using this die, wax patterns are produced and assembled onto a central runner tree. This tree is dipped in ceramic slurry and stuccoed with sand to form a multi-layered ceramic shell.
Once the ceramic shell has dried, it is placed in a steam autoclave where the wax is melted out (dewaxed). The empty shell is then fired at temperatures between 900°C and 1150°C to cure the ceramic and improve its thermal capacity. Molten metal (stainless steel, carbon steel, or specific bronzes) is poured into the pre-heated shell. After cooling, the ceramic mold is broken off, gates are cut away, and the parts undergo heat treatment to optimize mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

Sea freight from the Port of Ningbo to major ports like Tanjung Priok (Jakarta) or Tanjung Perak (Surabaya) is generally the most cost-effective solution for large-volume orders. Air express is recommended for urgent samples or low-volume parts. We provide detailed shipping quotes once we know the order size and destination.
For custom tooling and initial sample production, the lead time is approximately 7 days. For mass production, the lead time ranges from 20 to 30 days after sample approval and receipt of the deposit. Lead times are calculated from the point of final drawing approval.
