A metallurgical perspective on achieving unparalleled structural integrity, low porosity, and near-net-shape accuracy
Lost wax aluminum casting (also referred to as aluminum investment casting) represents the absolute pinnacle of structural fidelity in metal manufacturing. Unlike conventional sand casting or high-pressure die casting, lost wax processes utilize a disposable wax pattern inside a ceramic shell to shape molten aluminum. This technique is critically required for components that demand exceptionally high dimensional tolerances, thin walls, complex internal geometries, and minimal post-cast machining.
At XinYe Metal Works, we specialize in overcoming the primary metallurgical challenges associated with aluminum investment casting, including gas porosity and shrinkage cavities. By controlling critical variables such as dendritic arm spacing (DAS), grain refinement agents (e.g., Al-Ti-B master alloys), and degassing protocols (utilizing inert nitrogen purges), we guarantee that our cast structures achieve maximum yield strength and mechanical elongation properties.
We work extensively with standard cast alloys (e.g., A356, A380, AlSi10Mg) as well as custom aerospace-grade configurations, ensuring precise chemical compliance through spectrometer testing before every pour.
Our investment casting process yields surface finishes up to Ra 3.2 or better, significantly reducing downstream material waste and secondary processing times on high-precision surfaces.
We employ precise T6 heat treatment regimens (solution treatment and artificial aging) to customize mechanical profiles, balancing tensile strength with localized ductility requirements.
How XinYe combines advanced automation, localization benefits, and logistical proximity to mitigate procurement risk
Operating in the modern manufacturing landscape requires more than basic industrial capability; it requires robust supply chain resilience. XinYe Metal Works sits in the heart of China’s premier manufacturing cluster in Ningbo. This location provides us with immediate access to a dense network of raw material refiners, specialized tool designers, and advanced surface treatment experts.
Our infrastructure is designed for rapid scalability. While our standard facility operations run on a highly productive 16-hour daily schedule across 6 days a week, our management systems and floor operations are engineered to scale up to full 24/7 continuous operation within 30 days of client notification. This agility is backed by the availability of adjacent physical expansion space, allowing us to build custom assembly or specialized machining cells for long-term customer projects.
Proximity to Ningbo-Zhoushan Port: As one of the world's busiest container ports, our close location allows us to coordinate sea shipping with minimal overland transit times, reducing domestic transport costs and shielding our international partners from logistical delays.

Equipped with specialized metal fabrication machinery imported directly from Japan
At XinYe, we maintain a complete portfolio of metal processing equipment that enables a wide scope of metal manufacturing services. While investment casting is a primary discipline, we integrate it with multiple manufacturing technologies to offer single-source product responsibility.
Our core machine assets include:

To remain at the absolute cutting edge of the global investment casting market, XinYe is executing a strategic technology development plan. Our roadmap for the next 3 to 5 years focuses on the implementation of additive manufacturing (3D printing) for pattern creation, which completely bypasses the tooling requirement for low-volume structural prototypes.
Furthermore, our metallurgy research focuses on expanding our high-vacuum casting practices to prevent alloy oxidation, alongside integrating structural sensor nodes directly into metal components for IoT applications in transportation and aerospace sectors.
Certified engineering components built for high-stress applications across Europe, North America, and Russia
Our heavy components are engineered for machinery and harsh environments. This includes advanced oil, gas, and mining fire and safety system components, flame sensors, explosive/toxic gas detectors, and hydrant pit box enclosures.
Primary Alloys: Stainless Steel, Premium Aluminum Alloys
We supply transmission components and specialized components for high-reliability EV drive units, alongside precision structural frames, levers, connectors, and tubes for modern E-bikes.

We treat quality as our life force. Every process is documented, traceable, and validated.
At XinYe Metal Works, quality control is integrated directly into the factory floor. Our internal quality assurance department utilizes advanced measurement tools to guarantee that dimensional accuracies and metallurgical properties meet technical drawing requirements.
Our operations are certified to the highest standards, including ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and SA8000 for social accountability and ethical labor compliance. This makes us a reliable supply partner for demanding OEMs in Europe and North America who require transparent, responsible sourcing.

From initial blueprint engineering to production validation and international delivery
The client shares their CAD designs, mechanical limits, and application environment details. Our engineers perform a manufacturability review to optimize mold tooling configurations.
We build precision tooling molds and cast a trial batch. We conduct chemical composition, dimensions, and structural integrity checks, and then ship pre-production samples to the customer alongside a full dimension report.
The client tests samples under load conditions. Feedback is compiled and integrated into our tooling designs to prepare for final validation.
Upon sample approval, mass production is initiated. Quality control checks are conducted at multiple stages during manufacturing, including melt chemistry, dimension testing, and surface treatments.
Components are packed using heavy-duty export packaging to prevent damage during transit. We provide a full 1-year product warranty covering manufacturing defects.
To support complex OEM requirements, our facility includes a dedicated assembly area. This allows us to deliver complete, ready-to-install assemblies rather than just raw components. We manage the integration of gaskets, precision pins, fasteners, and springs, helping to reduce our clients' supply chain complexity.
Precision tooling and high-precision CNC machining centers for complex geometric structures
For complex components, we utilize advanced machining centers such as the TIPAS Machine. This equipment combines multi-axis functionality with automated setups to ensure high geometric consistency.
This combination of casting and precision machining allows us to maintain tight tolerances and clear geometric patterns on complex parts.
