Established Expertise

Ningbo Jiangbei XinYe Metal Works Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1996 as an owner-managed SME corporation, XINYE Metal Works has grown into an international manufacturing partner for high-precision components. Located within the strategic Ningbo Jiangbei Industrial Zone, our facility sits within a 3-hour transport radius from Shanghai International Airport, making us highly integrated into China's primary logistics and export corridors.

We span over 16,000 square meters of production floor space, complemented by an additional 11,000 square meters of ongoing facilities. XINYE employs 130 professionals: 80 dedicated to production operations and 50 within product development, quality control, supporting administration, and engineering management. This unique ratio highlights our focus on engineering competency and quality assurance over standard manual assembly.

Why Structural Integrity Matters in Forgings

Unlike casting processes, aluminium alloy hot forging aligns the internal grain structures, eliminating internal voids. This maximizes tensile strength, impact toughness, and fatigue resistance for safety-critical hardware.

Industry Insights

Aluminium Forging Development Trends & Global Procurement Dynamics

As industries push for carbon reduction and fuel efficiency, the demand for lightweight, high-integrity aluminium alloys is growing globally.

Lightweighting & Electric Vehicles

Automakers are replacing cast iron components with high-strength forged aluminium (like 6061-T6 and 7075-T6). This lightweighting directly increases the battery range of Electric Vehicles (EVs) without compromising occupant crash protection.

Supply Chain Diversification

Global procurers in North America and Europe require manufacturers to demonstrate stable source material control. XINYE addresses this by managing structural risk through documented material tracking, from raw ingots to final surface-treated assemblies.

Sustainability & Material Compliance

B2B procurement agents require environmental safety and fair working conditions. Our ISO 9001-2015 and SA8000 (Social Accountability) certifications assure global companies that our production meets strict ethical and corporate standard rules.

Factory 4.0 Paradigm

China Factory 4.0: Supply Chain Resilience & Cost Advantages

In today's volatile economic landscape, supply chain resilience is as critical as price competence. At XINYE, we achieve this by combining all key fabrication processes—from engineering and forging to CNC milling, anodizing, electropolishing, and manual sub-assembly—within a single, unified workflow. This internal integration minimizes transport lag, reduces transit damage risks, and offers clear cost benefits over fragmented supply chains.

Our standard manufacturing lines run 16 hours a day, 6 days a week. For high-volume projects, we can scale to 24/7 continuous operations within 30 days. Supported by local expansion land and consistent equipment investment, we adapt our output to match our customers' production needs.

  • Traceability: Inbound spectral inspections verify chemical composition.
  • Precision: Multi-axis CNC centers machine forged blanks down to 0.001mm tolerances.
  • Efficiency: Combined logistics through the deepwater Port of Ningbo simplify global shipping.

Strict Quality Control & Advanced Metrology

For load-bearing forged components, consistent quality is a necessity. XINYE operates a strict internal quality control system. Quality checks start with inbound raw materials and run through each stage of forging, machining, post-processing, and final packaging. Each production batch is documented and fully traceable.

ISO 9001:2015 & SA8000 Certification: These certifications align our operations with international standards for engineering quality and corporate responsibility, offering peace of mind to our worldwide procurement partners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our aluminium forgings, production capabilities, quality standards, and logistics.

What determines the price of custom aluminium forgings?
Pricing depends on raw material costs (determined by base aluminium market prices), forging complexity, die sizes, volume, machining requirements, and the selected surface finish (e.g. anodizing, chemical polishing). Once you share your drawings and specifications, we will provide a detailed quote outlining these costs.
Do you require a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Yes, we require minimum order quantities for international shipments to ensure production efficiency. The exact MOQ depends on the size and weight of the part. Please contact us with your specifications, and we can discuss options for smaller component trials or initial batches.
Can you provide material certificates and export documentation?
Yes, we supply complete quality documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (CoA), Certificates of Conformance (CoC), material heat-treat records, origin certificates, and export papers required for customs clearing in your destination country.
What is the typical lead time for tooling, samples, and mass production?
Typically, custom tooling and initial sample production take about 7 to 10 days. Mass production takes between 20 and 30 days after sample approval and receipt of the deposit. Lead times are confirmed once we review final drawings and production slot availability.
What payment methods does XINYE accept?
We accept bank wire transfers (T/T), Western Union, and PayPal. Our standard terms are a 30% deposit in advance to begin production, with the remaining 70% balance due against the copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L).
How do you handle shipping logistics and packaging?
We pack components using high-strength export crates, custom pallets, or specialized packaging to prevent surface scratches during transit. Shipping costs vary by weight, volume, and transport method (express, air freight, or sea freight). We can coordinate with your freight forwarder or handle transport details directly to your facility.
What warranty do you provide on manufactured parts?
We warrant our components against defects in materials and manufacturing for one year from the delivery date. In the event of a quality concern, we work with customers to resolve issues through replacement runs or credit adjustments.
How do I start a custom project with XINYE?
Simply send your 2D and 3D technical drawings along with your target quantity and material requirements through our contact form. Our engineering team will review the details and respond with a technical assessment within 24 to 48 hours.
