The Science of Thermal Processing & Forging Metallurgy

How heat treatment changes the grain structures of forged alloys to ensure high durability under mechanical stress.

Grain Refinement

Hot forging under controlled temperatures breaks down dendritic structures, aligning grains along the component's geometry. This reduces fatigue failures in critical components like aviation hinges and transmission gears.

Thermal Cycle Optimization

Precision annealing, solution heat treating (T4/T6 cycles for Aluminum), quenching, and tempering are customized to eliminate residual stresses, balancing tensile strength and ductility.

Defect Mitigation

By controlling forge heating speed and using high-precision dies, we prevent thermal cracking, decarburization, and flowline anomalies. This meets the standards of aerospace and automotive sectors.

Strategic Value

Why Source from China's Heat Treat Forge Hub?

Ningbo is a global center for advanced metal forming. Partnering with XinYe provides distinct logistics and supply chain advantages:

  • Raw Material Ecosystem: Quick access to certified alloys (aluminum, stainless steel, structural carbon steels, and copper), reducing material transport lead times.
  • Integrated Surface Finishing: Anodizing, hard-coat treatments, electro-polishing, and passivation are handled locally to reduce transit costs.
  • Port Logistics: Direct shipping access via Ningbo-Zhoushan Port—one of the largest deep-water ports in the world—lowering ocean freight costs and logistics complexity.
  • Advanced Tooling Capabilities: In-house mold design and rapid CNC prototyping reduce project launch times by up to 35% compared to Western tooling hubs.

Manufacturing Fleet & Process Capabilities

From micro-tolerance CNC machining to 1000-ton forging, our workshop is built to handle complex OEM parts.

Friction Press Fleet

Equipped with friction presses ranging from 300 to 1000 metric tons of force. This allows us to manufacture high-density hot forged aluminum and steel parts with minimal flashing and consistent grain structures.

Hydraulic & Mechanical Press

Our facility houses column hydraulic presses from 100 to 630 tons, alongside punching presses from 5 to 250 tons. This ensures flexible setups for stamping, deep drawing, and precision coining operations.

CNC Machining Centers

We feature advanced 4-axis CNC machining centers, CNC turning lathes, and CNC milling machines. These systems can achieve dimensional tolerances as tight as 0.001mm, ensuring precise fits for forged housings.

Industrial Quality Control

Quality is the foundation of our work. Our laboratory is equipped with precision testing tools to guarantee structural integrity.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Technical details, purchasing guidelines, lead times, and logistical details for global procurement agents.

What are your pricing guidelines?
Our pricing is calculated based on alloy raw material costs, the complexity of the forging shape, post-machining requirements, surface treatments, and volume brackets. Prices may fluctuate with market changes. We provide updated quotations upon reviewing product drawings and technical requirements.
What are your minimum order quantity (MOQ) requirements?
To ensure cost-effective production runs and setups, we establish an ongoing minimum order quantity for international orders. MOQs vary depending on the product type, tool setup costs, and alloy specifications. Please contact our sales team to discuss requirements for your specific project.
Can you supply quality verification and trace documentation?
Yes, we provide quality documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COA), Certificates of Conformance (COC), raw material certification records, dimensional inspection reports, and Certificate of Origin documents for custom customs clearance requirements.
What is the average lead time for tooling, samples, and mass production?
Generally, sample development and tool die fabrication take approximately 7 to 10 days. Mass production runs are typically completed within 20 to 30 days of receiving deposit payments and final technical approval. Lead times depend on current production scheduling and components' design complexity.
What payment terms do you accept?
For standard export orders, we accept telegraphic transfer payments (T/T) to our corporate bank account. Our standard terms are a 30% advance deposit to initiate tooling and materials procurement, with the remaining 70% balance paid against copies of the shipping Bill of Lading (B/L).
What warranty policy applies to delivered components?
We guarantee that all materials and workmanship conform to agreed engineering specifications. We offer a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, starting from the delivery note date. We work to resolve any customer quality concerns promptly.
How do you guarantee safe delivery for overseas shipments?
We use specialized export-grade packaging, including heavy-duty crates, anti-corrosion barriers, VCI film for steel parts, and customized foam inserts to protect critical features from vibration and moisture during transit.
