Engineered to exact tolerances under strict ISO 9001:2015 and SA8000 manufacturing quality controls.
Founded in 1996 as an owner-managed family enterprise, XinYe Metal Works has evolved into a premier manufacturer of high-precision metal components. Strategically located in the Ningbo Jiangbei Industrial Zone, our facility is within a rapid 3-hour connection via China's high-speed rail network to Shanghai International Airport, ensuring streamlined logistics and access for international procurement teams.
Spanning 16,000 square meters of production floor space alongside an additional 11,000 square meters dedicated to planned infrastructure expansion, our modern operation integrates cutting-edge engineering processes with a highly skilled workforce of 130 professionals. Our structure maintains 80 highly trained production staff and 50 dedicated specialists across product development, multi-axis engineering, quality assurance, and global supply chain logistics.
Understanding the transition to high-integrity structural metal components.
In modern heavy industry, structural reliability is paramount. Critical sectors such as automotive powertrains, aerospace fluid systems, gas detection arrays, and food-grade consumer appliances rely heavily on components that can withstand extreme mechanical stresses, thermal cyclic fatigue, and environmental corrosion. Traditional castings, while cost-efficient, often carry risks of subsurface porosity, shrinkage cavities, and structural anisotropy that can cause premature structural failure.
This is where precision hot forging stands out. By forcing metal under intense heat and massive pressure to fill dedicated die cavities, the grain structure of the metal is refined and aligned dynamically to the shape of the part. This alignment eliminates internal voids, increases impact resistance, and maximizes tensile strength. Our engineering team at XinYe helps companies transition cast components into high-integrity forged parts, reducing weight while maintaining critical mechanical limits.
Procuring custom forging components from China offers significant strategic advantages beyond unit-cost savings. The deep supply chain integration within Ningbo provides raw steel, alloy extrusion mills, secondary heat-treatment facilities, custom anodizing lines, and logistics hubs within a 50-kilometer radius.
Furthermore, XinYe bridges the gap between eastern manufacturing speed and western engineering expectations. We operate on a standard 16-hour daily schedule over 6 days, with the agility to shift to a full 24/7 continuous operation mode within 30 days to meet sudden surges in demand. This operational flexibility, combined with direct technical engineering support, makes us a reliable partner for global tier-1 supply chains.
Hot forging flow lines align directly to structural geometry, maximizing shear strength and fatigue life.
Typical mass production delivery within 20 to 30 days, backed by a quick 7-day initial prototype turnaround.
Chemical and mechanical composition verified via optical emission spectrometers prior to processing.
An integrated technological portfolio spanning design, forging, precise machining, and surface finishes.
By operating as a single-source manufacturer, we manage the entire production cycle. This eliminates delays and quality issues often caused by using multiple third-party suppliers for forging, CNC machining, and surface finishing.

Answers to common questions about our forging and machining services.
For custom OEM orders, sample tooling and initial prototype fabrication take approximately 7 to 10 days. Following sample approval, mass production is typically completed in 20 to 30 days, depending on batch volume and secondary machining requirements.
Hot forging aligns the metal's grain structure to the shape of the component, which eliminates internal voids and improves mechanical properties like tensile and fatigue strength. Castings are suitable for complex geometries with low mechanical loads but can contain microscopic air pockets.
We maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management, alongside SA8000 for social accountability. We also supply material test reports (MTR), dimensional CMM inspection results, and surface roughness records upon request.
Because we set up and align custom dies on heavy friction presses, we require a minimum order value or batch size for international shipments. This ensures tool design and setup costs remain economical for our clients.
Our standard payment terms are a 30% deposit in advance to secure tooling and raw materials, with the remaining 70% balance paid against the copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L). We accept bank wire transfers, Western Union, and PayPal.
We package components in custom-designed crates with division panels to prevent metal-on-metal contact. Anti-rust vapor phase corrosion inhibitor (VCI) bags are used for carbon steel forgings to ensure protection during ocean transit.
