Global Metal Forging Industry Landscape

The global metal forging sector is undergoing a massive shift. Industrial supply chains now prioritize lightweight structures, high structural integrity, and materials that can withstand complex mechanical stress. As key component weights are reduced in automotive, aerospace, and energy sectors, lightweight alloy forgings—specifically aluminum and high-grade steel alloys—have become essential to modern engineering.

Global Supply Chains

Modern global logistics require sourcing from suppliers who can manage fluctuating material prices, maintain consistent component tolerances, and implement robust risk-reduction strategies.

Economic Demands

Producers must continuously balance quality against cost. Utilizing advanced hot forging methods helps reduce raw material waste while maximizing component strength-to-weight ratios.

Regulatory Standards

With carbon emission caps and energy regulations changing, manufacturing must align with strict international testing, environmental policies, and transparent workplace standards like SA8000.

The China Factory Efficiency Advantage

China's manufacturing edge is built on highly integrated supply chains, automated equipment pipelines, and highly skilled engineering talent. At XinYe, we maximize these advantages by employing automated manufacturing lines and keeping secondary finishing operations, like anodizing and electropolishing, in-house.

Our production floor operates 16 hours a day, 6 days a week. To support high-volume programs or urgent contract requirements, our facilities can transition to a 24/7 manufacturing rotation within 30 days. Supported by local tool-and-die ecosystems, we minimize production downtime and significantly shorten product launch timelines.

  • Operational Flexibility: 16-hour daily runs, scalable to 24/7 in 30 days.
  • Premium Machinery: Core production machinery imported directly from Japan.
  • Turnkey Manufacturing: Complete processing from raw billets to surface-finished assemblies.

Our Core Manufacturing Technologies

A closer look at the equipment and techniques we use to achieve tight tolerances and high mechanical performance.

Aluminum Hot Forging

Supported by friction press machines with capacities ranging from 300 to 1,000 tons. This process shapes high-strength aluminum alloys, refining grain boundaries to deliver excellent fatigue resistance.

Precision CNC Machining

Featuring 4-axis CNC machining centers alongside high-speed turning and milling machines. We achieve dimensional tolerances down to 0.001mm on complex, multi-sided parts.

Lost Wax Investment Casting

Our lost wax casting lines are designed for complex geometries in stainless steel, carbon steel, and copper alloys. This process minimizes secondary cleanup while maintaining clean interior cavities.

Stamping & Deep Drawing

Using punch presses with press forces from 5 to 250 tons and column hydraulic machines from 100 to 630 tons. This setup handles thin-wall steel, copper, and alloy structures efficiently.

Surface Finishing

Our in-house capabilities include Type II & III anodizing, electropolishing, and passivation. Controlling these processes under one roof ensures consistent finish quality and improves corrosion resistance.

Sub-Assembly Integration

We provide complete sub-assembly services for complex multi-part components. Combining our machined, forged, and stamped parts simplifies our customers' assembly operations.

Strict Quality Control & Testing Labs

For critical applications, quality is the bottom line. XinYe maintains an ISO 9001:2015 and SA8000 certified quality management system. This guarantees that all processes, from sourcing raw materials to final dimensional checks, are documented and fully traceable.

Our quality department is equipped with a range of advanced metrology instruments. We conduct in-house chemical analyses, non-destructive testing (NDT), and micro-structure inspections. This testing ensures that every part we ship matches our customers' raw material specs and drawing dimensions.

GNR Spectrum Analyzer: Validates alloy composition before forging or casting.
CMM Inspection: Delivers automated coordinate measurements for tight tolerances.
Video Measurement Systems: Performs quick, high-accuracy 2D inspections.
Tension & Roughness Testing: Confirms surface finishes and mechanical strength.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions regarding pricing, lead times, manufacturing tolerances, and shipping.

How are project quotes calculated, and what factors influence pricing?
Our pricing is based on several key factors: raw material costs (such as current aluminum or steel market prices), part complexity, production volume, tooling requirements, and the specified surface finishes. We work to provide detailed, transparent breakdowns for all quotes.
What are your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) requirements?
To support international shipping and production efficiency, we require an ongoing minimum order quantity for production runs. We evaluate MOQs on a project-by-project basis, depending on the part size, material, and manufacturing process.
What technical documentation and material certs do you provide?
We provide full documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COA) / Conformance, detailed material test reports, dimensional inspection records, and required export/origin documents.
What are your typical lead times for tooling, samples, and mass production?
Tooling and sample production generally take about 7 to 15 days. Mass production runs typically require 20 to 30 days after sample approval and receipt of the deposit. Lead times may vary depending on project complexity and volume.
What payment terms do you accept for international orders?
Our standard payment terms are a 30% deposit in advance, with the remaining 70% balance due against the copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L). We accept payments via bank transfer, Western Union, or PayPal.
How do you handle shipping, packaging, and logistics?
We package all products in heavy-duty, export-grade materials to prevent damage during transport. Depending on order size and urgency, we ship via express courier, air freight, or sea freight.
